"Reliberate" Realistic Person Generator
"Reliberate" Realistic Person Generator is an AI tool that can synthesize multiple photo-realistic head images. Given a single facial image that does not have a particular expression, the tool is capable of synthesizing multiple photorealistic facial images of a person with arbitrary expressions. The major idea of Reliberate is to exploit the disentangled representations of discreteness and continuity for realistic person image synthesis. By using this tool, one is able to generate a series of facial images of the same subject under different arbitrary expressions without the necessity of additional input images with the desired expressions. Numerical results and qualitative results demonstrate the superiority of Reliberate compared to other existing state-of-the-art approaches. Capturing the detail and variability in facial expressions is a key component in realistic image generation. Given a single image of a person, we are able to synthesize multiple face images of the same person under different arbitrary expressions. With physically validated expressions, we can enlarge the expressive face dataset under controllable settings. Our method and framework illustrate the potential of harmonizing mixed factors with differentiable and disentangled architectures for expressional image synthesis in real scenarios.
